Europe Trip March 2009Hi everybody,

As lots of you already know we attended two international Oriental Dance Festivals. On the 14 & 15 March 2009 Oriental Festival Stuttgart International in Germany and 21 & 22 March 2009 ORISswiss in Zuchwil / Switzerland. The performances at the fringe program and Galas were a great experience an a huge success for Ajsa Samia and Palace of the Winds. Audiences just loved our performances! My workshops were very well visited. Thank you Leyla Nahrawess for the opportunity! www.leylanahrawess.de
We did three our own shows “Road of the Gypsies” in combination with Lakmini, a great Indian dancer www.lakmini.ch. The shows were in three different towns in Switzerland: Château-d’Oex, Monthey, Moléson s/Gruyères. Special Thank to Melanie Revaz, our Swiss –Miss, her husband Florian, her mother Monique, her Father, her sister, her Grandpa, her.........Their hard work on the organization of everything, but really everything make our time in Switzerland fabulous and unforgettable. I wrote extra for our Swiss performances a Belly Dance choreography on a Swiss yodel music. Palace of the Winds danced it.A great combination. The music is written and played by a very famous Swiss Band SONALP, www.sonalp.com. To get the cherry on the top of our trip…we met the band, spent some time together practicing “our” song for fun and for future performances…probably here in Cape Town!
The Palace of the Winds performed at very high international standard of dance. I am very proud of it as a dancer of Palace of the Winds and as a teacher and choreographer! We presented Cape Town and South Africa in a brilliant way! You like to see some photos, visit my site at the facebook on: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/profile.php?id=1002338485&ref=name
